Caprice is incredible. She was my teacher for prenatal yoga (a major key to my success in vbac), Childbirth Ed with my family, and now postnatal practice. Many times, I find myself continue to fall back on her techniques, and importantly, always feel so well cared for after every private session. I highly recommend her!

We were deciding between a group birth prep class and an in-home session with Caprice. The costs were similar, so we booked Caprice because of the scheduling flexibility and convenience of doing it in our apartment. We got so much more than an in-home session though.
Caprice did a wonderful job getting to know us and our priorities and she quickly assessed what we knew about birth. She filled in the gaps, helped us work through what we wanted for the birth and what to anticipate at our hospital. She delivered the content through concise thoughtful explanations that helped my husband become confident in his role as a birth partner and made me feel more prepared. Despite epic pregnancy brain, she somehow made the information sticky enough that i remembered it during the labor and delivery. She also provided optional pre-reading before we met and followed up afterwards with additional resources.
Caprice was fun, supportive and great at making us comfortable right away. She has a unique perspective on many of the local hospitals from her doula work and was always happy to share resources, referrals and answer questions even months after our session.

It was so reassuring to have someone so warm and experienced to help guide me through the process, especially when things didn't go according to plan. My husband and I were thrilled that we brought Caprice into our home to do a prenatal session focused on partner support. She is a calm and funny presence with true expertise and vast experience in the childbirth process . We used much of what she taught us to communicate during labor and appreciated the practical advice as well — knowing what to bring and how to advocate for yourself in the hospital is important information for first-time parents.
